Marston handles many exhibitions every year! We can do everything, from warehousing and despatching any type of exhibition equipment, even exhibition stands, to consolidating this and sending it out with books, journals, and promotional materials, monitoring consignments from despatch to arrival at the event, and arranging collection and return to Marston. We understand the complexity of customs requirements when sending material overseas, and always ensure deadlines are met in a timely fashion!
Our Promotional Services Department can arrange to mail out any type of gratis, review, promotional, proof and other complimentary copy on request. We can also arrange for the despatch of a variety of marketing and publicity material, including clients’ seasonal and subject catalogues, and information for reps, and we can provide mail shot response analysis, if required, whether you use our mailing facility or a third party's.
To supplement publishers’ own lists, we can provide our clients with labels, Excel spreadsheets or other data formats of their customer accounts, and can de-duplicate these against publishers’ in-house records.
Inspection Copy Service
Most of our publishers operate an inspection copy system for academics wishing to consider their books for adoption. We routinely handle this, sending books on 28 day trial basis usually accompanied by publisher adoption questionnaires, followed by multiple chasing for either payment, return, adoption, or gratis conversion. All responses are reported to the publisher on a regular basis.
Marston can generate monthly, twice-monthly or weekly orders for clients based on backorders and rate of sale information. These orders are particularly helpful for overseas publishers, especially those with a large inventory which they are keen to manage cost-effectively. If required reports can be produced by-exception to highlight titles with less than the minimum stock quantities for each title held on our system.
We can provide a range of ancillary book services, such as jacketing, pricing and repricing, point of sale production, stickering, shrink-wrapping, and bar coding.
