The latest member to our print facility is a Xerox iGen3, one of the latest new generation digital colour and mono press's. Combined with extensive pre-press and 2 Digipath scanners, this offers Marston a fantastic advantage in the digital print and POD business.

Marston Digital has an extensive range of equipment at its disposal. One of the very first to install a Xerox Docutech 135, the Company now runs several of these, complemented by a Docucolor digital colour press enabling the production of full colour documents.

In keeping with its pioneering approach to the printing industry, Marston Digital was an early subscriber to the internet and has enjoyed a permanent connection since 1995. This has enabled the Company to remain at the forefront of the sweeping changes that the industry has seen in recent years, with a move away from the more traditional ‘print & distribute’ methodology towards the speedy and cost-effective ‘distribute & print’ philosophy.

In order to provide the most efficient digital printing service to its wide range of clients, Marston Digital has invested significantly in ensuring that its IT capabilities are continuously updated, through an in-house team of IT experts and the regular updating of equipment.

Whilst on-demand digital printing and internet-related activities form the core of Marston Digital’s activities, in order to ensure optimum service and value for all its clients the Company has complemented its technological capabilities with a wide range of finishing equipment. This includes shrink wrappers, guillotines, booklet makers, comb and wiro binders and, more recently, the Company was the first in the UK to install a Duplo perfect binder, particularly suitable for very short run binding.
